Interfaith Family Services has suspended most in-person volunteer opportunities due to COVID-19. As a result, we are currently offering these limited contact volunteer opportunities for adults.
Volunteer weekly to help Interfaith clients identify a career path that is aligned with their experience, education, and interests! You will empower clients by identifying their strengths, building their resume, and honing their interview skills. This volunteer role is supported by our Career Services Specialist and curriculum is provided. Coaching sessions typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour and are scheduled on an as-needed basis contingent upon client flow. This opportunity is socially distanced with masks required.
Our Financial Coaches meet with our families 1 on 1. They commit themselves weekly to assist in basic financial education and budget coaching for a family’s entire stay in our transitional housing program. Coaches will lead them in basic financial literacy and work together on their weekly budget to improve how they spend and save.
Volunteer with Interfaith to help with our monthly food pantry distribution! For 2-4 hours on the second Thursday and/or Friday of each month, you can help pack bags and boxes of frozen items, produce, and non-perishables. This opportunity is socially distanced with masks and gloves required!
