10th Interfaith Auxiliary Luncheon Overview

A Beautiful Day of Inspiration and Impact

It was a stunning day at Rosine Hall in The Dallas Arboretum as the warm 71° sunshine and an array of tulips in full bloom seemed to usher in spring just in time for the 10th Annual Interfaith Auxiliary Luncheon.

Inside, our guests were blooming just as brightly, dressed in fashionable and colorful spring attire, creating a living garden of elegance in a room filled with 250 passionate supporters dedicated to our mission.

The day was filled with inspiring and moving speakers who brought Interfaith’s mission to life. Lesley McCaslin, Sideline Reporter for the Dallas Mavericks, served as our MC and opened the event with powerful and heartfelt words of her own. Luncheon Chair Ellen Kershaw and Honorary Chair Katey Plummer moved the crowd with their inspiring reflections, sharing how their volunteer experiences with Interfaith have deepened their understanding of our impact.

Board Chair Adam Goldenberg followed with compelling remarks, underscoring the transformational power of Interfaith’s programs before introducing the speaker of the hour, Interfaith graduate Brooke Bujol. Brooke’s heartfelt story of love, heartbreak, homelessness, transition, and triumph captivated the room, met with a long stretch of applause and admiration from our guests.

The luncheon was a remarkable success, surpassing its goals and raising an incredible $256,569 to fight poverty and homelessness.

Kimberly Williams, CEO stated, “There was something truly special about today—from the beautiful setting to the inspiring words shared, but most importantly, the generosity and compassion in the room. Seeing our mission come to life through the heartfelt stories and unwavering support of our community was incredibly moving. Thanks to the leadership of our incredible Chair, Ellen Kershaw, our Honorary Chair, Katey Plummer, and the generosity of our sponsors and donors, we surpassed our goal, raising $256,569 to fight poverty and homelessness!”

We are deeply grateful to our sponsors for their generosity.
