Administrative Angel
On-site, one or more days per week. Are you warm, welcoming, and dependable? Join us as an Administrative Angel, where you’ll cover the front desk during our Screening Coordinator’s lunch break by greeting guests, answering phones, and directing visitors with kindness and professionalism. This vital, one-hour weekday role (12–1 p.m.) ensures our families feel seen and supported from the moment they walk through our doors. Help us provide housing, help, and hope for families in crisis—one smile at a time.

Career Coach
Volunteer weekly to help Interfaith clients identify a career path that is aligned with their experience, education, and interests! You will empower clients by identifying their strengths, building their resume, and honing their interview skills. This volunteer role is supported by our Career Services Specialist and curriculum is provided. Coaching sessions typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour and are scheduled on an as-needed basis contingent upon client flow. This opportunity is socially distanced with masks required.

Financial Coach
Our Financial Coaches meet with our families 1 on 1. They commit themselves weekly to assist in basic financial education and budget coaching for a family’s entire stay in our transitional housing program. Coaches will lead them in basic financial literacy and work together on their weekly budget to improve how they spend and save.

Food Pantry Assistant
Volunteer with Interfaith to help with our monthly food pantry distribution! For 2-4 hours on the second Thursday and/or Friday of each month, you can help pack bags and boxes of frozen items, produce, and non-perishables. This opportunity is socially distanced with masks and gloves required!

Self-Care Instructor
Onsite. Are you a home chef, fitness enthusiast, crafter, or counselor with a heart to help others? Share your skills as a Self-Care Instructor at Interfaith by leading fun, hands-on workshops that promote mental and physical wellness for parents in our program. Whether it’s cooking a healthy meal, leading a workout, teaching a craft, or guiding a conversation on stress relief, your gift can offer encouragement, rest, and renewal to families navigating the challenges of parenting and life.

Story Time Reader
On-site, once a week. Do you love bringing stories to life and making little ones smile? Become a Storytime Reader at Interfaith and spend your Wednesday mornings (10:00–11:00 a.m.) reading fun, age-appropriate books to our toddlers in the cozy setting of our on-site library. With every page you turn, you’ll spark imagination, encourage early literacy, and help create joyful moments for children experiencing crisis. Your voice could be the highlight of their week—come read with us and help provide housing, help, and hope for families in crisis.

2nd Saturday Service Projects
On-site. Looking for a meaningful way to serve as a team? Join us for 2nd Saturday Service Projects at Interfaith, where volunteer groups come together monthly to tackle hands-on tasks that keep our campus safe, welcoming, and full of hope. Projects vary and may include organizing the food pantry, sorting donations, cleaning and disinfecting classrooms, painting, assembling furniture, landscaping, and more. Whether you’re a corporate team, church group, or community club, your helping hands make a real difference for families in crisis.
