The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted our local economy as businesses experience closures and employees are laid off. The pandemic has hit homeless and working poor families especially hard; since mid-March, Interfaith Family Services has received 10 times the normal number of requests for assistance. Although we ultimately determined not to host an in-person tournament for the safety and health of our guests, your help is needed now more than ever. We invite you to partner with us as a 2020 “Hole-in-One for Everyone” virtual sponsor. Your gift this year will empower you to do three things:
- Stand Up for Our Community. We invite you to stand with our community to provide help and hope for families who are at risk for homelessness in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Interfaith’s programs are proven to break the cycle of poverty.
- Stabilize Families. Funds from this year’s virtual tournament will be used to provide housing for homeless families, job placement assistance for unemployed individuals, and affordable childcare for essential workers.
- Secure our Future. Investing in Interfaith helps to elevate entire families out of poverty and strengthens our entire community. 90% of Interfaith’s families exit with employment and permanent housing. 79% also create a savings safety-net with an average of $2,876. Additionally, 82% of their children improve one or more grade levels in reading or math. Interfaith works because it puts families to work. . . And that benefits us all.

Provides emergency rental assistance to help a family maintain housing, as well as wage-elevating career training for mom. |
Provides summer and afterschool care for school-aged children, which includes individualized tutoring in math and reading, educational field trips, play therapy, and daily meals and snacks. |
Contributes to wrap-around services for a homeless family, including a fully-furnished apartment, career training, childcare, and financial coaching to help them achieve self-sufficiency. |
