Why Adopt A Family At Interfaith?
The Adopt-A-Family Program at Interfaith is a highly effective initiative designed to lift families out of poverty and homelessness in a lasting, transformative way. Your sponsorship not only helps families secure stability but also drives meaningful, long-term change. By participating in this program, you can play a key role in combating family homelessness while enhancing your family, group, or organization’s social responsibility efforts. Additionally, it offers a unique opportunity for team engagement, team building, and volunteerism, creating a positive impact both for the families and for your team.
How It Works
Through the Adopt-A-Family Program, your company or group can sponsor a homeless family by donating $5,000. This donation helps provide the family with a home, furnishings, and one year of support services. Your team can get involved by preparing the apartment for the family’s arrival or hosting a “house-warming drive” to collect essential household items. Afterward, Interfaith will send monthly updates on the family’s progress and offer opportunities for further engagement, such as helping with holiday decorations or attending the family’s graduation.
