Job Summary:  The Screening & Outcomes Coordinator provides primary oversight to incoming inquiries and calls into the agency and coordinates applicant phone screenings, assists with intake, and handles all aspects of front desk operations. Reports To:  Senior Director of Family Services and COO

Responsibilities:

  • Answers and directs all incoming phone calls into agency using a multi-phone line system
  • Provides phone screens to all program applicants to determine program eligibility
  • Tracks data on calls and screens through data entry into spreadsheet
  • Greets all guests including residents, program applicants, staff’s visitors, board members, donors and others that come to IFS campus
  • Accepts all incoming mail and distribute to appropriate mail boxes for residents and IFS staff
  • Sends emails to partner organizations announcing program vacancies
  • Schedules appointments for intake and prepare for intake day
  • Conducts drug screenings during intake day
  • Facilitates donation drop-offs to agency
  • Maintains clean work station and supply room
  • Occasionally provide administrative assistance to Home and Hope Team
  • Maintains client database and updates weekly
  • Creates monthly Dashboard and submits to Senior Director of Family Services for approval
  • Oversees graduate surveys and ensures completion

Requirements:

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Prefer bi-lingual English/Spanish
  • Ability to handle high call volume along with other tasks, simultaneously
  • Previous experience working with families in crisis, a major plus
  • Exceptional communication skills with a pleasant phone voice and welcoming demeanor with all patrons that come in and over the phone; must also be stress tolerant
  • Must have basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Word and Excel) that accommodates data collection and entry
  • Must be able to handle confidential information and interface with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Must be dependable; with reliable transportation

Job Summary:

A Faith-based, social service agency is seeking someone to provide comprehensive support to the non-residential program clients.  To help families become stable, understand their self-worth and learn needed skills to move them from transitional homelessness to self-sufficiency through the Client Lead Coaching Model.  Qualified applicants should submit their resume to La Toya Moore, Human Resources Manager, at lmoore@interfaithdallas.org.

Reports To: Senior Director of Family Services

Responsibilities:

  • Interview potential families
  • Assists families with development and follow-up of goals through the Client Lead Coaching Model
  • Work in a fast paced, outcome driven environment.
  • Guides families through appropriate tracks and benchmarks completion
  • Maintains case notes relative to outcomes of sessions with the families
  • Connects and assists families in locating appropriate community resources that are needed to aid them in achieving their goals and makes proper referrals for service
  • Serves as liaison for coordination of services with internal and external providers that assist with client programming services
  • Participates in weekly meetings with Senior Director of Family Services and case management team
  • Serves as the primary contact and advocate for the families during their programming
  • Facilitates and monitors the mentor relationship with the families and the volunteers
  • Abides by agency’s values, ethics and confidentiality agreements
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field. Must have at least two years of previous case management experience. BSW, LSW or Master’s Degree, a plus.
  • Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office Programs, with an emphasis on excel.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, strong listening skills and ability to exercise empathy and strong boundaries
  • Some knowledge and experience with mental illness, issues regarding homelessness, and addictions is extremely helpful and preferred
  • Experience serving diverse populations
  • Must be flexible with work schedule and available to work some evening hours and an occasional Saturday

Job Summary:  The Teacher’s Aide is responsible for assisting teacher’s in all aspects of the care & education for infants, toddlers, or preschool children. All infant/toddler classrooms teachers/aides are accountable for knowing state licensing requirements.  Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: physical care giving, developmental assessments, following an age appropriate curriculum plan, and facilitation of supportive relationships with director, co-workers, parents, and students. Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist the teacher as directed in order to provide appropriate childhood experiences in all areas of development and nurturing the children.
  • Assist the teacher in preparing the physical environment and maintaining order in that environment.
  • Always assist with supervising all activities to ensure the safety of children.
  • Report problems to the teacher that occur with the children, parents and/or volunteers.
  • Observe, record, and report individual children’s behaviors as assigned.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with parents, volunteers, and with children in the classroom setting.
  • Follow the personnel practices of Interfaith Housing Coalition.
  • Clean and maintain order in all classroom storage areas and kitchen.
  • Assist children in learning, socializing and developing independence during the snack period or mealtime.
  • Maintain prompt hours and notify the teacher/youth director in event of illness.
  • Maintain clean and neat appearance.

Special considerations

  • Be willing to work an occasional Saturday as needed.
  • Be available late afternoons and evenings as needed.

Minimum requirements

  • Teacher Certification and/or two or more years of teaching experience
  • Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, or its equivalent.
  • Possess a valid state driver’s license or id.
  • Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Flexibility and dependability

 

Salary Range: $12 – $14
