Each summer, Interfaith Family Services provides safe, free programming to help over 50 homeless and low-income children to defeat summer learning loss and have a summer to remember. While mom or dad works and trains to achieve greater financial stability, children at Interfaith will socialize with each other after a long year of social-distancing, obtain tutoring to ensure academic advancement, volunteer to help make the world a better place, and explore a variety of on-site and off-site camps.
This year, we ask that you help support one child’s summer experience at Interfaith. Our goal is to raise $40,000 to cover the costs of each of our Interfaith children’s summer experiences.
This summer I would like to do chores and work for money so I can save up to buy a PS4 or PS5. The game that I would like to play is 2K22. I really want to work hard so I can save money to buy Kobe Bryant’s jersey and shorts because I really love Kobe Bryant and I would like to play basketball a lot over the summer.
Fun summer I’ll go to my dad’s house and play Fortnite games and to my mom’s house to paint my nails. I like to ride my bike with my little brothers and play with my dog Coco.
This summer I’m going to the pool and play at the park with my friend Ava. I’ll have a sleep over, me and Ava. I’ll play all day. I want to go to Denny’s and eat pancakes.
What I want to do for summer is go to the zoo because I like animals. And yeah, maybe swimming because it feels so fresh. I’ll eat yummy food, oh and go to a skating club. Maybe I’ll go to a toy shop, you never know. I’ll go camping and I like toasting marshmallows on the fire. I like dancing too, it’s so much fun. And what I love is a bracelet club, I love making them they’re the best.
My fun summer would be playing on my PS5. I would also want to go to the pool and splash my sister so hard she flies to the other side of the pool. I would also go to sleep, mainly because who made school so early? Anyways, after everything else the thing that I would really want to do is go with my Nana to Paris this summer. Me and my Nana would go to Paris this summer, since when I was four years old, I have always wanted to go to Paris.
What I like to do during the summer is go to the zoo, go to the pool, go camping, go skating, and go eat at CiCi’s Pizza. I will go to the movies and to the park.
I like to play my games and watch some TV. I like to play with my baby brother and play with my mom, that’s all.
A fun summer for me is having fun with my friends, being able to play video games, watch movies, with not a lot to worry about. I would like to get a ticket on a plane to Connecticut so I can visit my family that lives there with my mom. I would like to watch my favorite movies, play with PJs on and a blanket to lay in. I’d also like to not worry about anything like my grades, family, anything I didn’t do or anything like those things. Sometimes I like to find new places to see or eat with my mom online.
What I like to do for summer is go to the pool and the park. Go to Urban Air and play with my cat at my house and play games like Connect4.
For summer I like to have a big summer pool party with a lot of cool food, drinks and I’d like to have a sleepover. I like to play video games and watch TV. I like to play board games with my family. I would also fidget trade with my friends. I would draw with my siblings and friends. I would also go to the water parks.
For summer I will go swimming and I will play video games. I will go shopping, and I will go to the mall, and I will go to a restaurant. I will go to Houston and visit my grandparents’ house. I want to go to Jumping World, to Six Flags and to a waterpark. I will go play at the park. I will go to the zoo and visit my cousin’s house. And I want to go downtown to Chuck E. Cheese and that’s what I want to do for my summer.
This summer I will play my PS4. I want to go outside to play flag football at the park. I will also have fun with my sisters and try to stay good. This summer is going to be fun, and I might spend it here.
What I want to do for the summer is first go to the mall and buy the PS5 and play it all day and every day and stay up all night and play 2K22. 2K22 is a basketball game and Madden is a football game that’s made by John Madden. He was the best NFL coach ever in football history. Then I’ll go to the zoo and feed animals and then go home. I will go to the pool and to the water park.

This summer I’m going to sea land. I’m going there to learn how to swim, go deep diving and learn about fish of all sorts. I’m going to eat lobster for the first time and all other types of fish. I’ll meet new types of animals like lionfish and catfish. The next place I want to go is the Dallas Zoo. I want to go there to look at animals that I’ve never seen before. I want to learn how to treat animals and feed them. I want to both go to sea land and the Dallas Zoo to learn about animals.
For the summer I want to meet new friends and go swimming. Then I want to go fishing and make more things like birthday cakes for birthdays. I want to help homeless people that need food and clothes.
What I want to do for summer is sleep, eat, and go shopping every day. Sometimes I will put on artheic music and get on pics-art and edit. Sometimes I get on Canva and go to fun places. Sometimes play Roblox on my phone and get on TikTok and do dances, and trends. I want to get a case for my phone and get on my skates.
My favorite thing to do during the summer is go swimming. I love to swim. Another thing I like to do is go on walks around the lake. I also like to watch movies and play games.
I want to go to the pool because it’s fun and I can splash and ride the waterslide. I like to go to the beach so I can swim with my family, see new cool animals and sea fish.
I want to go to a game that have lots of snacks. Or go on a big Ferris wheel with cotton candy, funnel cakes, and ice shakes of different flavors too. Skating as well. I want to go to a big water park, to splash and throw water at each other. And play fight with water balloons. I am going to the park so I can play on the monkey bars.

My fun summer would be going to the beach and making sandcastles. I love looking for seashells on the seashore. Also, I would love to go to the wilderness. Shoot fireworks into the sky. Roasting s’mores is the best on the Fourth of July. I would love to go to the pool and PARTY!!! At my pool, there are huge parties during the summer. And at my pool they have a sand area next to the pool! At night lights inside the pool come on, and there is food service. And last but not least, I would sleep in.
